Your profile shows up in Google Search and Google Maps. From it, people can:

- Get directions
- See your hours and whether you're open now
- Read reviews and look at photos

For a cafe, salon, clinic or gym, this is often where most new customers come from.
The mistakes we see most
1. Wrong or missing hours
If Google says you're closed when you're open, you lose that customer. Update your hours, and set special hours for Ramadan, Eid and public holidays.
2. The wrong category
Your primary category tells Google what you are. "Coffee shop" and "Restaurant" show up for different searches. Pick the most specific one that's true.
3. No website link, or a broken one
Your profile should link to a fast website that matches what the profile says. If the details disagree, customers get confused.
4. Old or no photos
Profiles with real, recent photos of your space, team and work look alive. Add new photos regularly.
5. Ignoring reviews
Reply to reviews, good and bad. It shows people you care, and a calm, helpful reply to a bad review can win more trust than a perfect score.
Keep your details the same everywhere
Your business name, phone number and address should match exactly on your profile, your website, Instagram and any directories. Small differences make it harder for Google to be sure it's all the same business.
